Councillor Christine Dale has been re-elected as your county councillor representing the Shirebrook and Pleasley Division.
Christine would like to to thank everyone who took the time to vote and will continue with her community work whilst also fighting on your behalf to rebuild the local economy, deliver better and safer roads, imporve the care for the elderly, invest in our young people and tackling climate change.
Christine said, "It has been a great honour and privilege for me to serve as your County Councillor over the past four years and I would like to thank you again for putting your trust in me to continue the fight to improve Shirebrook and Pleasley for the benefit of everyone over the next four years."
The results were as follows:
- Christine Dale (Labour) - 1303 votes
- Slywester Zwierzynski (Conservative) - 770 votes.
- Helen Oakton (Liberal Democrats) - 155 votes.
- David Murray (Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition) - 98 votes
